About Robert “Mike” Moore

Robert “Mike” Moore brings a lifetime of connection to Kingsport and Northeast Tennessee, along with decades of professional and life experience, to his work as a real estate professional with WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Saxon Clark.

Growing up in a military household, Mike experienced firsthand what it was like to move from one military base to another and long for a permanent place to call home. His family eventually settled in Kingsport in 1973 to be closer to family. Mike graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School in 1977 and has deep roots in the Kingsport community.

Mike is also a member of the 2/278th Tennessee Army National Guard and understands the unique needs of veterans and military families. Helping fellow veterans and their families find a place to call home is especially meaningful to him.

Before beginning his real estate career, Mike retired from Eastman Chemical Company's Polymer Division after 30 years of service. He later earned an Associate of Science University Parallel degree in Digital Media from Northeast State Community College and continued his education at East Tennessee State University.

Today, Mike puts his knowledge of Kingsport, the Tri-Cities, and surrounding Northeast Tennessee communities to work for buyers, sellers, and real estate investors. His goal is to make each transaction as smooth and stress-free as possible through strong communication, determination, and personal service. Mike believes clients should know what is happening throughout their transaction and makes communication by phone, text, and email a priority.

Mike and his wife, Valerie, married in 1979 and have one daughter. Outside of real estate, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, restoring classic cars and trucks, and spending time at local car shows and cruise-ins with friends in the automotive community.
